About This Project

The Master Plan will be undertaken in accordance with the process for Master Plans outlined in the Municipal Engineers Association Municipal Class Environmental Assessment document (October 2000, as amended in 2007, 2011, 2015 and 2023).

As part of this assignment, regional water system needs will be assessed for the short and long term (20+ years) by considering growth and development potential within the region, to ensure level of service is maintained and/or enhanced. The review and evaluation of system needs will consider all regional water system infrastructure including but not limited to the treatment plant, transmission mains, intermediate facilities, and terminal storage.
